Corte di Tregoniano estate
The Corte di Tregoniano estate
extends towards the north of Lazio along the Tiber valley, one of the best Italian viticultural areas, in the territory of Civitella d’Agliano.
The estate, which has been in the Mottura family since 1933, is today managed by Isabella Mottura.
The 110 hectares of land are characterised by forests, plains and sloping hills upon which red and white grape vineyards extend.
The vineyards are the result of careful research and quality selection, expressing in an innovative way the potential of a territory that since 1292 has been considered among the most distinctive for the production of wine grapes. The cultivation techniques applied on the estate follow the environmental regulations of the EU and the owners are particularly careful in the conservation and improvement of the area.
Isabella Mottura, following a family tradition, began this activity in 2000 with the objective of creating refined wines, strong in tradition and fresh in innovation. The choice of roses with engaging names like Amadis, Akemi and Siren best represents the beginning of this new generation of wines.
The grapes selection at the time of harvest, the use of advanced technological processes in the wine cellar, the support of enological consultancies of the highest standard, the constant direct participation in all production phases, form the base for the creation of wines capable of generating consumer interest.
The vinification is carried out in a thermo-controlled environment, with the use of containers able to produce quality without the use of chemical agents.
The aging process takes place in barriques left to rest in the cellar of a traditional colonial style mansion.
